Sharing projects with your team

Share projects with your team

Upgrade to the team plan

Project sharing is supported on the team plan.

You can video pricing and upgrade options from inside the app, by clicking the + avatar button to the left of the Export button in the navigation bar.

Once you upgrade you'll be instructed to create your team and invite users.

How to share projects

Team projects live alongside your local Kite projects on the home screen:

By default, when you create a new project, it is a local file stored on your computer.

When you're ready to push it to your team space, by clicking the list of avatars to the left of the Export button to surface the share menu:

Projects are manually pushed and pulled to the team space. There is no live syncing or realtime collaboration at this time, but may add it in the future. Please let us know if you want it.

You can track incoming changes from other teammates, download new versions, and revert to past versions at any time, but clicking the version in the list.

Looking to just share the final video, instead of the project file? Kite shareable links let you export your final video to a public webpage you can share with a link.

To use shareable links, click the Export button, and choose "Create shareable link." The video will export, and then upload, and you will be presented with a screen where you can copy the link.

You can also manage your existing shared videos using the "View shared videos" link here:
